Showdown in Budapest: Will Trump bring peace to Ukraine or World War III?

Trump will wohl mit aller Macht den nächsten Friedensnobelpreis. Nachdem er einen Waffenstillstand und die Rückgabe der Geiseln in Israel erreicht hat, will er nun zusammen mit Putin über einen Waffenstillstand in der Ukraine sprechen und es wäre nur zu wünschen, wenn Trump dort auch Erfolg hat. Die EU hat nun aber das 19. Sanktionspaket gegen Russland auf dem Weg gebracht und könnte Putin mehr Sorgen bereiten als Trump.

The person

Andreas Männicke studied business administration in Hamburg, graduating with a degree in business administration. After graduating, he was a research assistant at the University of Hamburg (Faculty of Business Administration) for four years. Since 1990 he was in charge of training securities experts and financial analysts in Central and Eastern Europe.
